M. Sc. Josepha Witt

Josepha Witt received her Bachelor of Science in Information Systems at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Stuttgart. In her bachelor thesis, she conducted a use case synthesis of problem areas addressed by blockchain technology. She published and presented the results of her bachelor's thesis in 2018 as a paper at the Multiconferenz Wirtschaftsinformatik (MKWI).

Afterwards, she studied the Master's program in Information Systems at the University of Hohenheim and graduated in 2020. As one of the top three per cent of all students in the 2018 summer semester at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Hohenheim, Josepha Witt was included in the Deans List. Her master thesis at the Chair of Intelligent Information Systems dealt with the topic "Is Your Value Chain Ready for Blockchain Technology? - An Analysis of Implemented Blockchain Technology Projects".

Josepha Witt has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Intelligent Information Systems since October 2018. She has been doing her doctorate on the topic of  the application of Blockchain Technology in value chains since February 2021. Her research interests lie primarily in the areas of distributed ledger technology, blockchain technology and digital transformation. From May 2021, Josepha Witt received a two-year scholarship from the Landesgraduiertenförderung to complete her dissertation. In teaching, she is active in the courses Betriebliche Informations- und Kommunikationssysteme, Planspiel digitale Verhandlung, and Advanced Negotiation Management.
